Structural Chiropractic, a thriving multi-practitioner clinic in Hawke’s Bay (New Zealand), is looking for two candidates keen on making a long-term commitment to becoming a part of their team.
The successful applicants will work alongside Dr. Ryno Tope who is spearheading a team of three like-minded chiropractors, as well as four support staff, from its headquarters in sun-drenched Hawke’s Bay.
He/she will be a newcomer with a burning ambition to operate their own successful practice, under the umbrella of Structural Chiropractic … when the time is right. Alternatively, if you are not interested in running a business you can simply practise as a valuable member of a multi-practitioner clinic.
Who are you? Someone personable and keen to build a rapport while trying to add value as a dynamic colleague.
You will have a full time position, be treated as an equal and not be expected to run the gauntlet. It comes with a generous salary, plus commission, and the stipulated four-week paid annual leave. The shortlisted applicant will progress to another stage of the application process where matters pertaining to remuneration, and such, will be discussed in detail.
This career-defining opportunity is ideal for a practitioner who harbours a desire to make a fresh start. It will be for someone who relishes the thought of making the most of a lifestyle in a province that is best described as the treadmill of nature in the country.
It’s a life-changing opportunity for someone who wishes to apply for residency and eventually become a citizen of New Zealand. Hawke’s Bay is a great drawcard for that transition at a time when the country is recruiting professionals to bolster its health system (see job description below).
Structural Chiropractic is built on the sturdy foundation of a patient-centred Third Paradigm model of Chiropractic Care. The Third Paradigm of Chiropractic holds that a vertebral subluxation, by its very existence, inhibits the body's ability to fully express its inherent potential. The theory uses a variety of objective tests to measure and track improvements in the Structure and Function of our patients.
What you will bring to the practice:
● Completed a Bachelor in Chiropractic degree or higher.
● Be a current registered member of the NZCA and hold a current license.
● Two years of experience is ideal, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
● Be a valuable and cohesive member of our team, bringing new ideas, drive and enthusiasm to be a long-standing team member of our practice.
● For those working to eventually own their own practice – someone who will take ownership and show commitment to the vision to run their own successful practice over time.
● Possess discipline that will equate to freedom. You will embrace all the values that will enable you to walk the talk, as it were.
● Pick a preference in the field. Enjoy what you do alongside supportive and inspiring colleagues.
What Structural Chiropractic offers:
● Opportunities to work with all types of patients – from new-born babies to the elderly, including entire families.
● Focus and commitment to the Third Paradigm of Structural Correction.
● Well-manicured workshops, including community-education lifestyle sessions, designed to help grow and maintain the practice so you won’t need to reinvent the wheel.
● Open to offering the successful applicant the opportunity to bolster his/her area of focus at the practice.
● Opportunity to grow with the practice (for example, a new Structural Chiropractic practice location with a share of the ownership).
Dr. Ryno Tope in a nutshell:
Dr. Tope is a 2011 NZCC graduate who has studied towards a diplomate in chiropractic philosophy before he was accepted into the Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers in 2013. He has a young, growing family and enjoys hunting, hiking, surfing and jui-jitsu.
The Bustling Bay:
Hawke’s Bay is an idyllic location to raise a family. It is second to none in a country that has an impeccable record in the fight against the global pandemic. The region offers the trappings of two key, but contrasting cities within a 20-minute drive of each other.
The province is renowned as the fruit bowl of New Zealand with its orchards and arable land for growing vegetables. It also boasts internationally acclaimed wine cultured at surrounding vineyards.
The successful applicant will soak up a liberating country lifestyle within minutes of hitting the highway. Love surfing, hunting and hiking? The Kaweka and Ruahine mountain ranges will feed your soul.
If golfing is your fix, do not despair. One of the country’s most revered amateur tournament-staging venues, Hastings Golf Club (Bridge Pa), is nestled among other challenging ones between the twin cities, as well as rural courses.
Fancy something more challenging? Don’t fret. We have the Golf Digest-rated, Tom Doak-designed World No. 22 Cape Kidnappers Resort and Golf Course a stone’s throw away.
Enjoy putting pedal to metal? The region boasts cycling tracks that offer some breath-taking scenery.
